TNews, SULUT – <\/strong>KPU Sulut menggelar sosialisasi tahapan pemilihan kepala daerah (Pilkada) tahun 2024 serta pendidikan politik bagi pengurus dan anggota Gerakan Mahasiswa Kristen Indonesia (GMKI) di Hotel Aryaduta Manado (14\/9\/2024).<\/p>\n

Sekretaris KPU Sulut, Meidy Malonda menyampaikan sambutan dan membuka secara resmi kegiatan sosialisasi. Dalam sambutannya, Malonda \u00a0mengungkapkan sangat bangga dan senang karena GMKI Sulut sebagai pemilih pemuda bersedia membantu KPU mensosialisasikan Tahapan Pilkada.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeran Ormas sangat membantu kami dalam mensosialisasikan tahapan Pilkada. Kami tidak bisa sendiri. Kalau kerja sendiri semua masyarakat tidak akan terlayani dan tersosialisasi, apalagi puncak Pilkada sisa 75 hari,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n

Kegiatan sosialisasi ini membahas proses tahapan Pilkada 2024, mulai dari pendaftaran calon, verifikasi, hingga pelaksanaan pemilihan dan penghitungan suara. Selain itu, peserta juga mendapatkan materi tentang pentingnya pendidikan politik, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan generasi muda mengenai hak dan kewajiban sebagai warga negara dalam konteks pemilihan umum.<\/p>\n

Pada kegiatan ini KPU Sulut menghadirkan Narasumber yakni Anggota KPU periode 2008-2014 Saut Sirait, Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Poltik, Ferry \u00a0Liando dan Ketua GMKI, Jefri Gultom.<\/p>\n

Materi yang dibawakan terkait dengan Pemahaman tentang peran, tugas dan fungsi mengenai pentingnya generasi muda dalam Pemilihan Gubernur dan wakil gubernur di Provinsi Sulawesi utara dan Pemahaman mengenai Pentingnya Demokrasi serta hak dari setiap warga negara untuk Memilih Pemimpin yang baik.<\/p>\n

Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya KPU Sulut dalam meningkatkan kualitas pemilu dan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam proses demokrasi.<\/p>\n

Melalui sosialisasi dan pendidikan politik ini, KPU Sulut berharap dapat meningkatkan pemahaman tentang tahapan Pilkada serta \u00a0kesadaran politik di kalangan generasi muda.
\nKegiatan ini dihadiri pengurus dan anggota GMKI Manado, Tomohon, Tondano, Minahasa dan Gorontalo.<\/p>\n
